Jim Rohn has always been one of my favorite motivational speakers. He spoke of Earl Shoaff often.
This is great stuff. However, I believe for this to work 100% of the time, whatever you decide that you want must be what God wants for you. To learn what that is, you must study and pray.
Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
I believe that this passage is often taken out of context. You just try this on face value and see how well it work out for you. Zig Zigglar says it really well. He said Magic Johnson has a positive attitude and has obtained a wonderful amount of success. However, if Magic Johnson wanted to be a successful jockey it just would not happen no matter how much faith or positive thinking he poured into it. i.e. If God tells you that you should move that mountain then you can be confident He will provide the means for you to do it.
